Been very busy lately and when I get home all I want is a cup of tea and my bed, but I manage to complete a 2 page LO tonight still working on my mum's album. For the first page, I use the sketch from Capture these Sketches #29

The second page was done using the sketch from Creative Scrappers #97

Creative Cards

I made two cards today, I tried being a bit more creative and go outside my comfort zone and I think they both turn out great.

The first card is for a co-worker that just lost his dad, it has really been a thought year on the losing Dad front but life goes on. The image was a freebie from Marjie's Malarkies

The second card is for a friend getting married this weekend in Hong Kong, my husband will be attending  but due to work and the kids I won't be. I use a valentine day 3d folding project from the Paper Craft Inspiration magazine, really wish I am able to get this locally, $10 is alot to pay but it really is worth it and I thing it turned out beautiful, really hope they like it, my husband is not crazy about me making a card but I wanted to do it any way.

Still working on my mum's album, so using the new sketch from creative scrapper #96, I did one more LO

Then since I am way behind on my son's album and the fact the he turned 19 today, I decided to add a page to his album and ended up doing 2 when I found the beautiful 2 page sketch posted by Pam over the  The Scrapbook Challenges Sketch 190

My mum is turning 70 next month and I have been working on an album for her, well I haven't gone very far since I noticed today that I only had 2 LO in her album, do in an effort to catch up I did 2 LO today using 2 different sketch for 2 different challenges for a 2 pager. This is heavy on the inque board, I love using them, the PP is American Craft, flowers were cut using my bigshot.

Page 1 was done sketch 178 at the the Pencil Lines ,

For page 2, I use the sketch from the Scrapbook Challenge,

Let's Ride

I was able to get 2 projects done after work today, I was so stress after being in meetings all day and this was just what the doctor ordered.

The Scraproom blog had a beautiful sketh for week 11 Challenge and I couldn't wait to use it. I will also be submitting this LO for my second entry at The Practical Scrappers - Use Chipboard

Then for the second project, I use the free digi image from A Gem of a challenge but then forgot to use the sketch provided by Janet, just went about trying to use up scraps and I thought the cutout square was perfect as a frame for the heart.

I will also be sub, itting this card for Crafty Creations #50 - Spots and dots,  Creative Card Crew #46 going Dotty, Flutter by Wednesdays #101 Green + Butterfly and Cupcake Craft #82 Going Green

So I went ahead and made another project using the beautiful Moosetrack Monday Freebie from Paper Popsicles and the sketch from A Gem of a  Challenge to make another card

Miss Hanging

I needed to make  a care for my coworker that had surgery yesterday so I figure out I may as well knock off some weekly challenges, so using the Sketch from Our Creative Corner and the free digi image from Sassy Cheryls (she gave this out for having 200 members, the more members, the more freebies, so sign up and don't forget to check out her store she has some awesome images)

I will also be entering this card for the Sassy Cheryls Challenge #3 which is a color combo orange, green, black and glitter (on the shorts, glitter gel pen for the lettering and also on the large butterfly)
