Winter Theme Birthday Card

Daring Cardmakers wants a Winter theme birthday card, I tried to use a PP but I had none that really seems wintery, not really surprise, winter here is so cold and dreary that the thought of picking up a winter theme PP probably never cross my mind tend to gravitate towards bold summery colors. then I rememered that I had bought a birthday Stencil kit and decided to use it instead. First time stenciling messed up the edges a bit so trim with with the Sunflower Fiskar Scissor but practice makes perfect.

The cake is colored using gel pen and for the other I use Martha's Aquarium pigment ink collection. Paintbox for lettering.

I will also be submittig the card for Tellen's Palace - #6 Birthday and  Penny's Paper Crafty - Birthday

Thinking of you

Using the free digi image from Hope Jacare, I worked on making a card for Sew Many Cards Challenges #4 - Red, Pink and white. I had this sheet of flowers from Cosmic Cricket wasn't quite sure what to do with it but it ended up being perfect to cover the white card up, before covering the white card with the flower, I did go over it with Holtz' fired brick distress ink, also went over the white flowers with the distress ink. There are 139 little flowers on the card.

I will also be submitting the card for the Daring Cardmakers Have a Heart Challenge
